Spill of Fate || 엎질러서 만난 운명
Eddie and his friends decided to dine at a restaurant called Yei San Jib right after working out at the gym. The restaurant was packed but they managed to get seated. One of the waitresses, Sarah, took their order….
“What can I get for you? ”
— Sarah
“I would like to have an order of Mushroom Tofu Soup, water based medium spicy.” Sarah did not like my order because it was too complicated and the kitchen was already stomped by the influx of kitchen orders.
— Eddie
Is this guy serious? The kitchen aunties are going to hate me if I take his order… “W-w-water-based?? Are you sure?”
— Sarah

Two of his friends received their order in a reasonable amount of time. However, Eddie’s complex order was not out yet. Eddie waited and waited and waited some more. By this point, Eddie ate more banchan (Korean side dishes) than his meal. And at last! Eddie’s dish finally arrived. As Sarah was placing down his boiling, medium spicy, water-based Mushroom Tofu Soup, she stumped her foot on the chair next to Eddie and spilled the tofu soup onto his Google Pixel 3 and partially on his leg. Startled by her mistake, Sarah kept insisting on giving Eddie and his boys free drinks. But they respectfully declined because it would ruin the gains.
“It’s okay. He needs an iPhone anyways.”
— Kyle
Eddie thought of an idea to seize this moment and asked his friends what they thought if he went up to the waitress and asked, “Instead of the free drinks, can I get your number?” His homies encouraged him to do it but he noticed she was too busy helping other customers, so he could not find the opportunity to ask her personally. So instead, Eddie decided to leave his phone number on the receipt along with a fat tip.
Eddie got his Soondubu girl and an iPhone 13 Pro.
